It's quite difficult to explain how 'Shrimp Paste' is delicious!!!!
Shrimp paste is the fermentation of ground shrimp with hot sun that it's made shrimp paste to be a strong-smelling and salty as Thais called 'Ka-pi'. Every house has Ka-pi in the kitchen because Ka-pi is the commonly ingredient of Thai food. Mostly, they always use 'Ka-pi' for Shrimp Paste Chili Dip or Nam-Prik-Ka-Pi which has Thai chilli peppers, garlic, shallot (Some recipe hasn't), Thai shrimp paste, palm sugar, lime juice, fish sauce, hot water, and Pea eggplants. A taste of Shrimp paste chili dip is rounded balance flavors; sour, and sweet. It's going well with fresh or boiled vegetables, Thai omelet with Cha-om (Senegalia pennata), and Pla-tu (Thai Mackerel).
